Everybody Wins

When you have an event as fun as the Lights of Lugoff everybody wins.  The spectators, participants, the city, and all involved get to enjoy one of the best holiday events in the midlands.  However, some people get to be a little more winninger (it’s a word, we promise!  No need to look it up, you can trust us…) than others.  Here are this year’s parade winners!

  • Best Overall Professional Float: Hospice Care of Tri-County sponsored by Jeff Gainey Lube

Thank you to all of our sponsors that help make the Lights of Lugoff parade a success!

Now With 20 Percent More Awesomeness!

The 2011 Lights of Lugoff Parade Lineup has been posted and it figures to be the best year for the parade yet! The participants in the parade have increased by 20% over last year and we’ve got familiar faces and all new participants joining the fun this year. You’ll see Horses, Dancers, and Robots oh my! More rapid than eagles the ambulances will come, with “The Big Guy” anchoring all of the fun. Now cheerleaders, now churches, now schools, and all the rest of ya’ll. Now dash away, dash away, all to the Lights of Lugoff Parade this Saturday, December 10th, at 7:00 PM! Santa says bring a jacket too!

Everybody Loves A Parade

Nine out of ten trick-or-treaters agree, the next best thing after a huge haul of candy on Halloween night is getting ready for the Lights of Lugoff Christmas Parade! We’re in our fourth season of Kershaw County’s only night time Christmas Parade and we can’t wait to see all the floats this year.

Planning is underway, and we have just added the details, guidelines, and forms to the site today. We’d love to see YOUR float in the parade this year so start thinking about how creative you can get and send in your form by December 8. Don’t forget to save some room for candy canes while you are munching on all that Halloween candy, and let us be the first to say Merry Christmas!

2010 Parade Entry Winners

The 2010 edition of the Lights of Lugoff Christmas Parade was another fun-filled experience for everyone involved, from the participants to the spectators. Over all Professional: Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County sponsored by First Palmetto Savings Bank

Best Overall: Patterson School of Dance
Best Overall Professional Float: Fitness Zone
